And the purpose of the competition is to select the best agricultural machinery services in Poland in 2017, as well as highlight the role and importance of technical service in the operation of agricultural machinery, promote service as an important business area, stimulate the development of service plants.
After the first stage, which consisted of filling in and sending back the survey, it was time to verify and evaluate the services. The competition committee undertook to visit the service establishments submitted to the contest and from 28th to 30th of June, and on July 3rd, went on a long trip to visit the servises. During those four days, the committee has had a really long way. Everything started in Torun from where the committee went close to Slupsk. And then visited the services located in the Kujawsko-Pomerania and Mazowieckie voivodeships, and went east in the area close to Bialystok. The next stop was the neighborhood of Racibórz near the Czech border. The last stop was in Wielkopolska. So “the last straight” was almost 2,500 km and was a great experience during which we were able to see and evaluate how the service works, how they are organized, what equipment they are working on. The last task left: analysis of collected material, evaluation, results summary and announcement of the winners.
Soon we will know which service company has earned the title ot the best service facility in 2017. The official awards ceremony will take place at the AGRO SHOW on Friday, 22 September 2017.
