At present, two models are offered with a diameter of 4,5 m: KON-SPED60/2 with load capacity of 37,9 tonnes and the larger one – KON-SPED60/4, able to hold 61,2 tonnes of grain. Both silos maintain the same passage parameters, i.e. the height of 3,95 m and the width of 4,45 m.

Forwarding silos are aimed at fast loading of vehicles with grains of cereals, rape, corn and other materials in bulk.

A silo is made of hot-galvanised flat sheet and its smooth surface facilitates discharging of collected materials,  thus allowing for self-cleaning of the tank. The outlet cone in the bottom part was made of metal sheet with a thickness of 2,5 mm, with a conical shape with a slope of 45⁰. At its end there is a unloading pipe with a manual and electrical gate valve.  The electrical gate valve KONSIL opens and closes a silo discharge during normal operation. The manual gate is used for emergency closing of an unloading pipe, for example in the case of voltage loss. The roof of the silo has a conical shape with a slope of 30⁰, and on its top there is a fill opening with  a diameter of 200 mm. On one of the roof segments an inspection opening is placed, with a diameter of a 600 mm, protected with a grid. Specially made connections with  trapezoidal stamping ensure silo roof tightness, protecting it against water penetration inside the silo.

Robust, hot galvanised supporting structure allows for quick emptying of a silo onto various means of transport. Its height and width is adjusted to large vehicles, that can be positioned under the silo for loading purposes. A forwarding silo in cooperation with unloading systems of outlet-cone silos and flat-bottom silos sets allows for very quick loading of prepared grain batches onto the means of transport.

The project was implemented according to the European construction standards EUROCODE.
