Tractor market:
– For the first time in a long time, July is the month that brings a significant increase in the registration of new tractors compared to the same month a year ago. 833 new tractors were registered, 652 pcs a year before, what means increase of 181 pcs (over 27%);
– From the beginning of the year 5119 new tractors were registered, 212 more than the year before – 4907 tractors were registered;
– All brands in the first 7 months of the year are recording increase, New Holland’s market leader with 16% share (819 units, up 145), John Deere’s second place with 13% share (663 units + 146 units) on the third position is Kubota 11.7% (601 units, + 75 units);
– Zetor, with a 10.7% shares, took the fourth place and recorded 546 registrations (58 more than a year ago), followed by DeutzFahr with 9.9% (505, + 81 vs. 2016);
– In July the most popular brand was John Deere (17.5%) with 146 items, only 1 unit ahead of New Holland (14.4%, 145 units), Zetor reached 10.1% DeutzFahf 9.7% (81 pcs), Kubota 9% (75 pcs);
– The Ursur C-380 was the most popular tractor model in the first half of 2017, followed by Zetor Major 80 – 152, New Holland TD.5 85 – 128, DeutzFahr Agrolux 410 – 127;
– In terms of power, the most popular category remains up to 75 hp and is just slightly less than 61% of total sales. However, in July compared to June, the number of registrations in the categories above 100 hp increased: 278 pcs in comparison to 168 pcs. a month earlier (+ 65%);
– Increased registration in higher categories was likely to affect average tractor power growth in July to more than 93 hp with less than 80 hp in June:
– Mazowieckie and Wielkopolskie are still the provinces with the highest number of registered 822 units and 530 units of registered tractors since the beginning of the year, but they lose and register fewer tractors than they did in the previous year (in Mazowieckie Province by 21 units less Less than 90 pcs);
– In the next two voivodships, 460 new tractors were registered – Lublin and Lodz (increase by 75 and 56 units year-on-year), in Podlaskie, 462 units increase by 129 units;
– 6,7% more tractors of foreign-origin was registered, 8703 of them were imported this year, but only 254 were new tractors, 49,7% (4329 units) were tractors older than 20 years.
Trailer Market:
– The number of registrations in July was 830 new trailers compared to 577 in July 2016, an increase of 253 or 44%;
–  2807 new agricultural trailers have been registered since the beginning of the year, 783 more than in the previous year, an increase of 39%;
– market leader is Pronar with 40.9% share (loss compared to last year 1.6 pp);
– 3.8 pp is gaining Metal-Fach and with 16.6% shares takes second place;
– in the third place with the same shares of 6.8% there are two companies: Wielton and Zaslaw.
