„Swimer”, a company from Toruń, is a winner of the Poland Now (Teraz Polska). It was awarded for its high quality polyethylene containers for the storage and distribution of diesel fuel. The awarding ceremony of those prestigious awards was organised on 3rd in the Teatr Wielki (the Grand Theatre) in Warsaw. The winners collected their awards from the The Chairman of the Chapter, prof. Michał Kleiber and the Member of the European Parliament – Adam Szejnfeld.
“Swimer” is a Polish manufacturer of containers used for storage liquids and chemical substances. Their capacity varies from small to those that can hold even 20 thousand litres. Thanks to this, it is able to find customers even among the most demanding entities. The company was founded by Łukasz Otremba 11 years ago. The high quality of the containers from Toruń was confirmed multiple times by independent research institutions.
The containers from “Swimer” are distinguished by high durability, well-thought-out design and careful finish. All products are made of the highest quality polyethylene called primary polyethylene. Thanks to that, they can hold fuel, liquid fertilizers, AdBlue and even drinking water. The company sells its products in 27 countries around the world. Export is an important element of the activity of the company which constantly looks for new markets.
As Przemysław Bochat, who on behalf of the Swimer company took the prize from the Competition Board, says: “this award holds a great importance to us. Since the establishment of the company, we knew that we want to remain a European leader and we pursue this policy consistently. The “Teraz Polska” award is the best example” – adds Bochat. This award will be another proof of the Toruń company’s success.
“Swimer” provides employment to over 140 people and is in constant development. It is one of the few examples of very dynamic expansion on the domestic and foreign market. We not only manufacture containers, but also designs their electronic components. However, it does not focus solely on business. Swimer supports cultural and sports events. It is a sponsor of the speedway in Toruń, as well as volleyball and hockey team, swimming and golf schools.
The “Teraz Polska” award is a distinction which promotes companies that have achieved success on the market. Its significance facilitates further development of such companies. The graphic sign of this award is recognizable in Europe and beyond.
