Since 2004, the GRIMME Technica fair has been held at headquarters in Damme. However, due to uncertain situation related to the coronavirus pandemic, as well as wishing to protect health of our visitors and employees, this year’s GRIMME Technica fair, planned for December 1 to 4, 2020, are cancelled.
“This decision is very difficult for us, as the GRIMME Technica fair is one of the most important commercial events from our perspective. However, facing the current uncertainty, we had no other choice”, says Christoph Grimme, General Manager of the Agricultural Machines Factory GRIMME. Until December 31, 2020, all fairs and events in the GRIMME Group all over the world are cancelled. This also includes the fairs, Potato Europe in France and Beet Europe in Seligenstadt.
Fairs and trade meetings are a very important tool for nourishing relations with current customers and for winning new customers. Therefore, works on alternate and new concepts for maintaining contacts and sharing information with customers are in progress.
The production at seven plants of the GRIMME Group in Germany, Denmark, China and the U.S. has not been stopped. Own production of many parts and subassemblies, combined with the most modern production processes helped us to cope even with those short-term but critical situations related to supply of parts. Implementation of more stringent hygiene rules and changes in work organisation allow us to continue work at all sites all over the world.
The supply in spare parts is guaranteed, and it was expanded with an online shop in cooperation with GRIMME Premium Partners. We also guarantee machine deliveries and servicing.
