From technical aspects of plant cultivation to ecotourism. All aspects of organic farming will be discussed at the ROL-EKO scientific conference. It will take part on November 28–29, 2023 in Poznań, also in an online form. This will already be a 24th edition of the conference organised by the Łukasiewicz – Poznań Institute of Technology.
This year, its theme will be “Organic farming, design, research, operation, safety, and ergonomics of agricultural, forestry, and food machines”. During those two days, experts from Poland and abroad will discuss subjects such as:
‘An extensive discussion about organic farming is necessary’, emphasises Sylwin Tomaszewski, Deputy Commercialisation Directior at Łukasiewicz – PIT. ‘The European Union assumes that by 2030, 25 percent of farmlands will be managed using organic methods. So we have a lot of catching up to do, and the ROL-EKO conference will offer an excellent opportunity to discuss the sustainable agricultural production in the academic circles’, he adds.
The event is held under the honorary auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund.
